Effective produced water (PW) management is a key driver of profitability. MYCELX delivers optimized water treatment systems that enable operators to recover “sales-oil” quality oil, reduce saltwater disposal (SWD) and maintenance costs, and achieve recycle-quality water in two steps.

As reservoirs mature and natural pressures decline, the ratio of water to oil increases dramatically. In regions like the Permian Basin, operators often face water cuts exceeding 90%, along with complex treatment challenges such as emulsified hydrocarbons, dissolved salts, suspended solids, and residual chemical additives. Coupled with rising water cuts, these conditions make effective PW treatment systems more critical than ever.

MYCELX’s two-stage produced water treatment system, MYCELX Advanced Coalescer (MAC) and Regenerative Media Filter (REGEN), delivers next-generation, recycle quality water (10ppm). This system handles significant fluctuating inlet concentrations, recovers 98% oil with <2% BSW, reduces suspended solids, is closed loop/zero emissions, and no chemicals required.
